- Lot Description
A rare pair of Chinese porcelain Sang de Boeuf chargers with the beautiful monochromatic copper red glaze accentuated by the white encircling the rim.
Based on air bubbles/pin pricks, the thick potting, the foot with oxidation ring, we date these plates to late Qing when a renewed interest in the sang de boeuf decoration experienced a revival.
