A lovely antique ceramic Staffordshire Toby jug with cover of seated Toby holding his ale. The figure is decorated in lively colors of yellow, green, rust red, ochre, and black. The cover survives which is unusual. Probably dates to mid/late 19th C. Nice details, especially with the teeth, and carefully painted indicating a higher quality piece.
