- Lot Description
A well preserved portrait of World War 2 US Army Air Force pilot John Francis Collins who served in the South Pacific theater with great distinction, but was forced to return to the US due to appendicitis. He continued to serve with honors for the remaineder of the war and afterwards when called by special request of his commanding officers to attend elite miiltary schools.
