The print number 46 is from Y?sh? Chikanobu (1838 - 1912) series Snow, Moon, Flowers published between 1884 - 1886 as a series of 50 prints. This particular scene is a parody of the Tale of Genji as told in False Murasaki, a much later novel. Mitsu-uji has taken his lady friend Tasogare to an old temple for an evening of romance.
