Frida Kahlo (Mexico, 1907 - 1954) unframed colored pencil on paper drawing depicting a self-portrait, executed in 1941. Measures 14" in height with width of 12" & signed to lower left "Mexico Frida Kahlo 1941". All measurements are approximate. This piece comes without certificate of authenticity, but style & signature are consistent with other known works of the same artist. Provenance: comes from the estate of a prominent Texas & European collector, known to have been friends with many artists, including Frida Kahlo herself and Diego Rivera.
