UNITED STATES, DATED 1834 An American partially printed and ink on vellum ship's passport signed by Andrew Jackson as President and Louis McLane as Secretary of State. The document grants safe passage for one 182 ton vessel with (?) guns and eight men with goods and merchandise to be delivered someplace foreign. The header is decorated with an image of a lighthouse and clipper ship. The document is signed and dated May 21st, 1834. Frame measures 15" by 12"
