FRANCE, THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY A fine Sevres romantic Rococo porcelain charger. The charger is decorated with an aristocratic family of three seated on a bench in vibrant enamel paint. A second woman is seen leaning against the top rail of the bench holding a parasol. Notice the Greco-Roman classical architecture in the background. The scene is surrounded by a traditional Sevres blue glaze border. The charger bears a Sevres "L" date code mark, circa 1764. The charger is housed in a period carved and gilt wood ball and claw foot table. Tile approx 20", table measures 24" diameter by 26 1/2" tall
