GERMANY, EARLY 20TH CENTURY A German singing bird cage automaton manufactured by Karl Griesbaum (1872-1941). The automaton consists of a faux red bird on a perch surrounded by twigs and berries. The underside bears an impressed K&G mark. Measures 11" tall
Bellows not working at this time. It operates very well with on and off switch, but is not chirping. Wear to red finish on berries.
