ITALY, 20TH CENTURY An Italian capodimonte porcelain figure grouping modeled by Bruno Merli. Titled "Cheats", the group depicts a group of three playing cards as one player passes a seven of diamonds under the table. The group is signed in the mold "B. Merli" and bears an over glaze blue Capodimonte crown mark. Wooden plinth measures approx. 14 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" deep. Figure stands approx 8 1/4" tall.
Minor scratches to wooden plinth, otherwise very good condition.
