• Lot Description

  ceremonial flag from 1992 TranSouth 500 race, with iconic '76' logo at center surrounded by white and black checkered pattern, approximately 40 readily identifiable signatures including: Dale Earnhardt Sr. (deceased), Davey Allison (deceased), Alan Kulwicki (deceased), Richard Petty, Bill Elliott, Rick Mast, Rusty Wallace, Ernie Irvan, Ricky Rudd, Dick Trickle, Dave Mader, Derrick Cope, Geoff Bodine, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Morgan Shepherd, Ken Schrader, Brett Bodine, Greg Sacks, Kyle Petty, John McFadden, Ted Musgrave, Jerry Hill, Chad Little, Bobby Hamilton, Kerry Teague, Terry Labonte, Jimmy Spencer, and others; mounted to pulp board, 25 x 34 in.

  Note: The 1992 TranSouth 500 was the fifth stock car race of the 1992 NASCAR Winston Cup Series season and the 36th iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, March 8, 1992, in Darlington, South Carolina. In the final stages of the race, Bill Elliott would make a late charge for the lead, to take his 38th career NASCAR Winston Cup Series victory, his fourth victory of the season.

  • Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
