In addition to our gold and silver coinage, we bring to you the most complete set of James Mudie's bronze British 'National Medals' that we have ever handled. Each medal is nestled in an elegant album for easy storage and display. Key currency includes a famed ‘bison’ note, along with a collection of Roman and Byzantine ancient coins. There is always room for a few fun inclusions, for instance a stack of ‘short snorter’ signed notes, which includes signatures for Douglas MacArthur, as well as other notables. 1926-S Peace dollar; 1826 and 1833 capped bust half dollars; 1858 half dollar; 18 silver half dollars (90%) of assorted types; five Kennedy half dollars (40% silver); eight silver quarters, mostly Washington type; 1835 capped bust dime with interesting reverse cud covering 'MERIC'; 1859-O dime; approximately 55 Mercury dimes with a good spread of dates; 1837 no stars half dime; 1854 half dime; 1856 half dime; 13 wartime Jefferson nickels, 1938 and 1950-D Jefferson nickels; 1860 silver three-cent piece; seven two-cent pieces, dates ranging 1864 to 1871; 1847 large cent; 1858 flying eagle cent; off-center Lincoln cent; three Japanese WWII-era notes; two series of 1917 $1 large currency notes; Bank of Augusta (GA) $1 note; "funny back" silver certificate; 1923 $1 large silver certificate; five red seal $2 notes; 1957-B 1 silver certificate; and two 1976 $2 bills

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
