18th century and all three relating to the Jeffrey family of Portsmouth, with relevance to important early Partridge and Belcher families, to include: 1720 quit claim decree for property of James and Anna Jeffrey, mention of Andrew Brock's widow, dwelling house bought of Colonel William Partridge and Dame Mary his wife, Samuel Penhallow as Recorder, folio 11-1/2 x 7 in.; 1721 legal document involving George and James Jeffrey, mention of William and Samuel Koais (or Koas) the latter a shopkeeper (dollmaker?) whose wife Mary was daughter of Thaddeus Ridden of Marblehead, partial wax seal affixed, 12 x 7-1/2 in.; 1736 partnership agreement for establishing a Jeffrey family mining company, covering "searching, finding, and working of mines of lead, copper, and tinn [sic] within County of Essex, Massachusetts Bay, New England", witness David Wentworth, folio 12-1/4 x 7-1/2 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
