A striking mid-century modern oval tray crafted in the 1960s by the renowned Los Castillo workshop in Taxco, Mexico. This piece exemplifies the studio’s celebrated “Metales Casados” (married metals) technique—an intricate fusion of copper, brass, and nickel silver arranged in a bold geometric pattern.
The elegant oval form showcases beautifully contrasting metallic finishes—rich copper, golden brass, and silvery nickel—seamlessly inlaid to create a dynamic visual composition. This collectible piece is stamped with both the Los Castillo and Metales Castillo hallmarks and is numbered 95, confirming its authenticity and workshop origin.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
