- Lot Description
Striking vintage water pitcher designed and handcrafted by Los Castillo in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1960s. This sculptural piece features a finely hand-chased silver-plated surface with a richly textured pattern and a gracefully flared neck. The curving handle is inlaid with natural azurite, while a charming carved malachite frog rests atop the rim—an iconic motif in Los Castillo's whimsical design language.
The piece is fully hallmarked on the base:
"Los Castillo / Taxco / Hecho en Mexico / Plateado / #34", confirming its authenticity and origin in one of the most celebrated silversmithing workshops in Mexico.

6 inches total height × 6 inches deep (including handle) × 4.25 inches diameter

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
