- Lot Description
Vintage Scandinavian recliner chair and ottoman from the iconic Stressless "Consul" series by Ekornes, made in Norway in the 1980s. Crafted in supple brown leather with plush ergonomic padding and a warm oak bentwood base, this set features the signature round base and reclining mechanism that made Stressless a household name in comfort and design.
The chair includes an integrated wood tray table mounted on the right arm, ideal for convenience and functionality. The matching ottoman provides exceptional leg support, completing the lounge experience. Signs of wear are consistent with age and use, including patina on the leather and minor surface marks.
Marked "Made in Norway" under base.
Measurements:
Chair; 37.25 inches high x 33.50 inches wide (includes tray) x 25.50 inches deep x 23.50 inches tray height from floor x 20.75 inches arm height x 16 inches seat height.
Ottoman: 21.50 inches wide x 15 inches deep x 15.50 inches high.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
