A French Japonoiserie stained beech display cabinet attributed to Gabriel Viardot, late 19th century, the raised shaped and moulded top above an asymmetrical arrangement of glazed compartment, open shelves, small drawer, and cupboard, on shaped feet, the velvet lined interior of the glazed compartment, richly decorated throughout with fretwork, carved elements, and bronze mounts.
The piece has a label that reads Dai-Nippon, Fabricant A Paris 3&5 Boul des Capucines.
The piece comes with the original skeleton key.
