A beautifully hand-painted Japanese Imari porcelain bowl, likely dating to the Meiji period (late 19th to early 20th century). The bowl features a scalloped rim and vividly colored interior, decorated with alternating panels of stylized florals, lattice motifs, birds, and landscapes in cobalt blue, iron red, green, and gold overglaze enamels. The exterior is also adorned with floral cartouches and scrolling foliage.
This traditional Imari ware piece showcases classic Japanese craftsmanship with bold symmetry and a vibrant palette. Visible age-related wear includes a hairline crack and minor rim chips (see detailed photos).
