- Lot Description
Charming and whimsical footed tray handcrafted by Los Castillo, one of the most celebrated design studios in Taxco, Mexico. Resting on four polished ball feet, this silver-plated tray features a sculptural bird perched at one end, meticulously inlaid with iridescent abalone shell—a hallmark of the Castillo workshop's imaginative and nature-inspired style.
Stamped on the underside with the full Los Castillo hallmark:"Los Castillo / Taxco / Hecho a Mano / Mexico"
This piece is a fine example of mid-century Mexican decorative arts, blending artisanal silverwork with indigenous materials and playful organic forms.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
