- Lot Description
Striking Mexican silver-plated bell topped with a sculptural parrot, intricately inlaid with vibrant abalone shell. Designed in the whimsical and nature-inspired style of Emilia Castillo for the renowned Los Castillo workshop, this decorative bell captures the essence of mid-to-late 20th-century Taxco artistry.
The parrot is perched confidently atop the bell, crafted with meticulous detail and iridescent abalone inlay that highlights its plumage with shimmering hues of green, violet, and pearl. A fine representation of Mexican modernist silverwork, blending organic form with functional design, ideal for collectors of folk-modern objects and decorators seeking a conversation piece with artisanal provenance.
Dimensions: Approximately 6.75 inches high x 4.25 inches wide (includes bird) x 3 3/8 bell diameter.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
