An extraordinary and rare handcrafted water pitcher by Los Castillo of Taxco, Mexico, this monumental vessel is a true collector's piece. Designed with a hammered silver-plated body and a sculptural parrot forming the handle, the bird is inlaid with a stunning mosaic of lapis lazuli, azurite, and malachite, creating a rich green-blue patina that contrasts beautifully with the lustrous silver surface.
A testament to Mexican mid-century craftsmanship, the parrot is highly detailed with a curved beak and expressive form, perched gracefully on the spout. The base is stamped “Los Castillo, Hecho a Mano, Mexico” and model number 989—a hallmark of the renowned silversmithing dynasty.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
