A delightful and rare pair of vintage table sculptures designed and handcrafted in Mexico by acclaimed artist Emilia Castillo. Titled "El Gato y El Ratón", these whimsical pieces portray a playful cat and a timid mouse, masterfully sculpted in porcelain with a matte black finish and embellished with hand-inlaid pure silver (plata pura) detailing.
Dated 1998 and signed by Emilia Castillo, both figures function as salt and pepper shakers, making them not only decorative but also functional tableware. Whether used in a dining setting or displayed as collectible art, these sculptural shakers are sure to impress guests and delight collectors of Mexican design.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
