- Lot Description
Striking and whimsical Mexican mixed metal sculpture depicting a stylized Aztec or tribal warrior, signed TORO, Hecho en México. Crafted from hammered metal, copper, and brass, the figure features intricate detailing such as a spiral malachite-inlaid shield, hand-painted helmet, and textured armor. The warrior is dynamically posed in mid-motion atop a dramatic natural quartz crystal base.
This handcrafted piece blends mid-century Mexican folk art with elements of brutalist and modernist design, celebrating indigenous iconography through the lens of artistic abstraction.
Materials: Mixed metal (silver-plated, copper, brass), stone inlay, quartz.
Dimensions: 10" high × 5.75" wide × 5" deep.
Signature: Stamped TORO, Hecho en México on base.

Local pickup is welcomed, please call in advance to setup an appointment and ensure the items are paid for before picking up. For out of state buyers we can provide shipping quotes or provide a list of shippers, we do not pack anything ourselves but we can drop off the pieces to a shipping store such as UPS or FedEx and arrange shipping with freight companies such as Plycon, Craters & Freighters, Tramo, Cube, and others.
