  Original vintage gelatin silver photograph. Keith Richards by Albert Watson, 1988. Full page in CYCLOPS, 1994 Albert Watson, named one of the 20 most influential photographers of all time by Photo District News, was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1942. He is well known for his fashion, celebrity and art photography, including 40 covers for Rolling Stone magazine and over 200 covers for Vogue. In CYCLOPS (1994), The Editorial Director of Conde Nast, James Truman, bore witness to Watson’s quarter-century career at that point: It is the ritualistic collaboration between a compulsive, controlling perfectionist and a romantic dreamer who still believes in the luxurious power of photography to seduce, shake, rattle, and roll.The title refers obliquely to the little-known fact that since birth Albert Watson has had sight in only one eye. #2027
