- Lot Description
M. J. Hummel Goebel porcelain nativity set consisting of ten (10) pieces including the Christ child, Mary, Joseph, a shepherd, the three (3) wise men, a cow, a donkey, and a sheep. All pieces are stamped on the base with the Hummel Factory mark along with Copyright Goebel stamp, "West Germany" and incised numbers. Some pieces additionally date 1951. Ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 3" W to 8 1/2" H. German, Mid-20th century.
Condition
All pieces are in overall very good condition except the Mary figure who has a break to the back of her right hand.
