- Lot Description
One (1) hand-numbered Warner Bros. Looney Toons sericel serigraph and fourteen (14) limited edition Disney sericels. Warner Bros. sericel depicts Tazmanian Devil and Bugs Bunny golfing and Disney sericels depict Alice in Wonderland, Bambi, Cinderella, Donald Duck, Dumbo, Goofy, Lady and the Tramp, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, and Winnie the Pooh. Warner Bros. sericel from an edition of 2500 published in 1992, with Warner Bros. seal, lower left, and numbered 664/2500 in pen, lower right. Each Disney Sericel with Walt Disney Company seal, lower right, and each from an edition of 9,500. Warner Bros. sericel housed under acrylic in a gold metal frame with double mat. Sight: 9 1/2 in. H x 12 1/4 in. W. Framed: 16 3/8 in. H x 19 3/8 in. W. Disney sericels housed under acrylic in giltwood frames with triple mats. Sight: 9 1/4 in. H x 13 1/4 in. W.
Condition
All sericels in overall very good condition. Not examined out of frames. Some frames with dampstaining, surface accretions, abrasions, or mildew to mats. Four frames with cracks to acrylic, longest to Goofy, 8 3/4-inch. Some frames with minor abrasions and losses.
