- Lot Description
French Aubusson wool tapestry panel, 19th century or earlier, depicting a bucolic landscape setting with ducks swimming near a central bridge. 78 1/2" x 66 1/2". Strip with hanging rings added to top edge, verso. Purchased Ro's Oriental Rugs, Dec. 1995 for $11,400. A copy of the original receipt is available to the winning bidder.
Condition
Some fading, several scattered repairs and three open separations to weave (5"L and 3"L, in water, and 2", to bridge). A few minor light stains.
