- Lot Description
Oil on canvas still life painting depicting a brass bucket and copper kettle on a red fabric ground. Unsigned. Housed in a parcel gilt and ebonized frame. Sight: 15 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 21 1/2" H x 30" W. Probably Continental, 19th century.
Condition
Painting with small flake loss lower left margin, four old patch repairs en verso. Frame with minor scattered abrasions.

The collection of Alex and Cristina Ionescu, South Carolina, by descent from his father, the artist, conservator, and collector Vlaicu Ionescu of New York (1922-2001).
