- Lot Description
Two (2) Antique Tekke Turkman Torba area rugs, wool on wool, including one with 25 guls and the other with 30 guls. Both with lower elem panels with chevron decoration. Woven in colors of dark red, blue, rust, and cream. 3 ft. 10 in. x 2 ft. 3 in. and 3 ft. 8 in. x 2 ft. 1 in. 1st rug circa 1875 and 2nd rug circa 1870.
Condition
Both with overall light pile wear, and losses to both fringed ends. 2nd rug with partial border loss.
