- Lot Description
1st-4th items: Four (4) Chinese black ground Cloisonne vases with dragon decoration, including a pair of "Magic Fungi" vases with blue flowers and assorted red-capped mushrooms, 6 1/2 in. H.; and two wide ginger jar forms with covers, 8 1/2 in. H including tops. Early to mid-20th century. 5th-8th items: Four (4) Chinese black ground cloisonne vases with dragon decoration, including a pair of garlic head vases, 8 1/4 in. H., and two double gourd form vases, measuring 12 1/2 in. H and 6 3/4 in. H. Early to mid 20th century.
Condition
1st-4th items: One fungi vase with shallow 1 in. diameter indentation; Jars in very good condition with reattached finials. 5th-8th items: 1 garlic head vase has a subtle and shallow 1 in. dent to side. Small double gourd vase has a 1/2 in. shallow dent near lower rim. Large vase has three 1 in. dents to side, including one with area of loss.
