- Lot Description
1st item: Edward Reynolds Kingsbury (Massachusetts/California, 1855-1940), impressionistic oil on board seascape painting depicting brightly colored rocky cliffs with a view of the ocean beyond. Signed lower right. Housed in a painted and parcel gilt wood frame. Sight: 12 1/2 in. H x 15 1/2 in. W. Framed: 16 5/8 in. H x 19 5/8 in. W. 2nd item: An unframed and unsigned oil on canvas seascape painting depicting a view of the ocean from the shore with large rocks visible in the foreground. Attributed to Edward Warren Parkhurst (Maine, 1827-1911). Unframed. 14 in. H x 22 in. W.
Condition
1st item: Painting in overall good condition, frame with minor scattered abrasions. 2nd item: Overall light grime, abrasions to the perimeter from prior frame.
