- Lot Description
Two (2) Dorothy Sklar (American/California, 1906-1996) modernist watercolor paintings including one (1) depicting a landscape with tall trees and a home partially visible to the left, signed and dated '45 lower right, and one (1) depicting a Victorian house, signed lower right. Landscape is housed in a carved gilt wood frame with black mat. Sight: 12 7/8" H x 19 3/4" W. Framed: 23 1/4" H x 30 1/4" W. House painting is housed in a dark wood frame. Sight: 17 3/4" H x 23 5/8" W. Framed: 26 1/2" H x 32 1/4" W.
Condition
Both in overall very good condition. House painting's frame with minor losses and abrasions plus minor dampstain to the left side of mat.
