- Lot Description
Item 1: Serhiy Podervyansky (Ukrainian, 1916-2006) oil on board portrait painting of a young boy wearing a brown coat and blue military hat with a mesh bag slung over his right shoulder. Signed with initials lower left. Housed under glass in a painted wood with fabric fillet. Sight: 23 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W. Frame: 31 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Item 2: Large 20th-century Russian school oil on canvas impressionist portrait painting depicting a young man wearing a tan overcoat and black beret seated against a partial dark green and white backdrop. Illegibly signed lower right and possibly dated "'49." Housed in a silvered wood frame with an inner bead edge. Sight: 30 1/2" H x 26 1/2" W. Framed: 38" H x 34 3/4" W.
Condition
1st item in overall very good condition. Minor wear to the frame. 2nd item in overall very good condition.
