- Lot Description
Two (2) carved and painted wood Merganser drake duck decoys including one signed and dated "Miles Hancock (VA 1887-1975), 1938" and one unsigned but numbered 229. 6 1/2" H x 15" L and 7 1/8" H x 15" L. Both 1st half 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
Condition
Hancock duck in overall good condition with scattered and losses wear to paint. The other duck with separation of the body into halves. Scattered light wear to the paint.
