- Lot Description
Two (2) Spanish Colonial Cuzco School religious-themed paintings including one painted on canvas depicting John the Baptist and a dog and another painted on leather depicting a saint holding a cross-staff or scepter, possibly St. Francis of Assisi. Unframed. 15 3/4" H x 9 3/4" W and 14" H x 11" W. The painting on canvas is 19th century and the painting on leather is 19th century or earlier.
Condition
Both paintings have scattered moderate wear and losses. Leather painting with scattered exfoliation to paint.
