Two (2) Tanaka Ryohei (Japan, 1933-2019) etchings plus 1990-2000 and 2000-2006 catalogs raisonnes. 1st item: Early etching and aquatint entitled Winter Tree House and depicting the upper story of a building beside which stands a nearly leafless tree, 1978. Signed and dated lower right and numbered 12/120 lower left. Numbered 221 and titled in Japanese lower left. Unframed. Sheet: 13 1/4" x 11 3/4" W. 2nd item: Etching and aquatint entitled The Approach (Hyakusaiji) and depicting path that leads through a gate and into a wooded area, 2003. Signed and dated lower right and numbered A.P. 8/10, a rare proof impression. Numbered 683 and titled in Japanese lower left. Unframed. Sheet: 17 1/2" H x 14 1/2" W. 3rd-4th items: 1990-2000 and 2000-2006 Tanaka Ryohei catalog raisonnes published by Yamao Tsuyoshi, Art Shop Ezoshi, Kyoto, 2000, and Art Shop Ezoshi, Kyoto, 2006, respectively. With The Approach (Hyakusaiji) illustrated on page 15.
Condition
1st item with old archival tape hinges en verso. Otherwise all items in excellent condition.
