Twenty (20) pieces Gorham Fontainebleu pattern sterling silver flatware, including 1 large cheese scoop (9 1/4" L), 1 sauce ladle, 3 tablespoons, 9 salad forks (6 3/4" L), 4 dessert spoons, and 2 teaspoons. Combined weight: 29.68 troy ounces. Late 19th century. Note: The Fontainebleau pattern, introduced 1880, was the first design created for Gorham by famed French silversmith Antoine Heller. It depicts various characters from the court of Francis I.
All pieces with some wear, most notably the teaspoons. All pieces monogrammed M or W. Some additionally engraved with date 1884.
