- Lot Description
Set of three American, likely Pennsylvania, birdcage Windsor side chairs consisting of mixed woods. All rod back style with bamboo-turned parts including three (3) top spindles and seven (7) lower spindles, curved top rails with parallel bamboo-turned lower rails, rounded saddle shape seats with incised perimeter, and bamboo-turned splayed legs joined by stretchers. 35" H x 19 1/2" W x 16" D. Early 19th century.
Condition
All chairs are in overall good condition with wear and minor losses commensurate with age and use. Losses to finish on two chairs and seats with some wood shrinkage.
