- Lot Description
A collection of four (4) Chinese and Southeast Asian Buddha figures, including 1 parcel gilt and polychrome carved wooden seated Buddha figure, 11 in. H; 1 bronze metal Buddha head with tightly curled hair and flaming ushnisha, likely Thai, affixed to a square hardwood block, 7 1/2 in. H including base; 1 bronze metal seated Buddha, likely Thai, 5 in. H and 1 small gilt bronze seated Buddha figure, 1 5/8 in. H, likely Chinese, with associated hardwood base, 3/4 in. H. All items 20th century.
Condition
Wooden Buddha has a 3/4 in small loss to wood on back and some losses to gilding and paint. Bronze Thai Buddha head has chip and 1 inch long crack to lower neck. Other items with moderate wear, overall good condition.

Available payment options
Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
