- Lot Description
Four (4) carved and painted duck decoys, including redhead hen and drake and two bluebill drakes, likely by Mason Decoy Factory (1896-1924) Detroit, MI. All standard grade, solid bodies, three with glass eyes and one bluebill with painted eyes. Three with old labels to bases. Ranging from 6" H x 13 1/2" W x 4 1/2" D to 6 3/4" H x 14" W x 5 1/2" D. First quarter 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
Condition
All in good condition with use and age wear including scattered paint loss, wood shrinkage, and general wear. Larger bluebill with missing eye and damaged glass eye.
