Grouping of five (5) carved and painted duck decoys including: one (1) drake canvasback decoy with inscription on the base reading "Mady by Ted Parsons (Edward T. Parsons, MD, 1856-1937) Royal Oak, MD, From my personal collection Bob Richardson"; three (3) decoys by Captain Jessie Urie (MD, 1901-1978) including 2 drake canvasbacks, and 1 drake gadwell, all signed on the base and one with Richardson collection stamp; one (1) drake canvasback, attributed to Captain John Glenn (MD, 1876-1954) with a label on the base reading "John Glenn drake canvasback. Repainted by Jess Urie. Made prior to 1950". Ranging in size from 7" H x 15" L to 8 1/2" H x 14 1/2" L. All 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
All in good condition with use wear including scattered paint loss, losses to body, and shrinkage to wood. John Glenn decoy with old repair to neck.
