Collection of seven (7) slide rules made in Japan, 5 by Sun Hemmi. 1st item: Frederick Post 1460 Versalog, made in Japan by Hemmi Bamboo, date code "FA" (Jan. 1955) with original POST leather case, POST belt loop, and red box; includes boxed POST Sun Hemmi 1482-GM magnifier. 2nd item: Frederick Post 1460 Versalog, made in Japan by Hemmi Bamboo, date code "GK" (Nov. 1956), Serial 709856; in original leather case with belt loop. Box 13 1/2 in. L. 3rd item: Post 1490, made in Japan by Sun Hemmi, date code "IA" (Jan. 1958); Celluloid over bamboo in leather case, 4 three-line cursors; same design as the Hemmi 301. 4th item: Fuji 201P, QuateLog Precision Slide Rule, made in Japan; in two-piece white and green plastic case and original box. 5th Item: Post 1491 Chem ten-inch Duplex Rule, made in Japan by Sun Hemmi; Celluloid over bamboo in leather case; same design as the Hemmi 257. 6th Item: Teledyne Post 44DA-610 Versalog II pocket slide rule, made in Japan by Hemmi; in leather sheath; 7 in. L. 7th Item: SIC 1610-D Duplex 5-inch circular slide rule, made in Japan for Scientific Instruments. Co., 1963; in original box with case and instructions.
Most items in overall good condition with wear to be expected from age and manner of use; 1st Item (1460 in box): Rule, case and belt loop appear unused, box with scuffs. 3rd Item (Post 1490) with owner's initials scratched on case and back of rule.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
