- Lot Description
19th century Aesthetic / Arts and Crafts Movement plant stand, of square tapering form with low relief floral carved top, a pierced and reeded apron over a parcel gilt floral carved frieze and eight stiles forming a gallery with Gothic arch capitals. The four wave-carved legs are joined by an undertier with the same low relief floral carving found on the top, which repeats on the Gothic-arch valanced skirt. Height: 47 1/2 in x 13 1/2 in W x 13 1/2 in D. Probably American.
Condition
Overall very good condition. Top slightly warped with edge wear and small crack; repaired breaks to one stile; some wear to gilding.
