An Aesthetic Movement style three-panel floor screen consisting of a carved ebonized wood frame inset with painted canvas panels depicting water birds including pink flamingos, herons, and other large shore birds. 47 3/4" H x 59 1/4" W (19 3/4" per panel). Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Sarah Gaunt, Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
Overall good condition. Painted canvas bird panels with light grime and very light craquelure. One frame's carved cornice has a break repair and one frame screw is not original. Frame with light wear. Paper dust cover of one panel has some tears.
