- Lot Description
After Giuseppe Bessi (Italian, 1857-1922) Stonelite portrait bust after the 1st century Augustus of Primaporta in the collection of the Vatican Museums, signed in cast "Prof G. Bessi" above a marbled base, 20th c. 20" H x 12" W x 6" D.
Condition
Overall very good condition, with minor scratches especially to tip of nose, 1/8" x 3/16", and to left side of breastplate, 1" L.
