- Lot Description
Antique Baluch Afghan tribal prayer rug, wool on wool, a central cream or light brown mihrab with stylized foliate decoration, within two primary borders. Two wide striped flat weave borders to each end. Woven in rust, brown, blue, and cream colors. 5ft 2in x 2ft 7in. Circa 1860's.
Condition
Wear and pile loss to center. Minor losses to the fringe on both sides.
