- Lot Description
Antique Saryk Turkmen rug, wool on wool, brick red center with three rows of nine guls and two stylized geometric borders to each end, within two main borders. Woven in brick red, blue, salmon, and cream. 4 ft. 11 in. x 3 ft. 4 in.Circa 1880.
Condition
Overall good condition, uneven pile wear with heavier pile wear to 1/2 of the rug. Losses to fringed ends.
