- Lot Description
Antique Turkmen Tekke Ensi rug, wool on wool construction. Central cruciform design having four panels with bird head designs and wide lower elem panel with stylized geometric designs. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 5ft 5in x 4ft 3in. Circa 1880's.
Condition
Overall very good condition, minor wear to the pile noted to one corner, and minor losses to the pile near one margin. Wear to both fringed ends.
