- Lot Description
Carl Christopher Graf (American, 1892-1947) oil on board painting titled "Hauling Logs," depicting a man with team of horses working in a forest setting, rendered in an impressionist style with bright spring tones. Unsigned. Label en verso for Sessions Hootsell, Natchez, MS, with title. Parcel gilt and stained wood frame with linen mat. Panel: 14" H x 11" W. Frame: 20 1/2" H x 17 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville estate; ex- Sessions Hootsell, Natchez, MS; the estate of the artist.
Condition
Overall very good condition with tiny stain at upper right edge and some wear to frame.
