Octavo, 94 pp, poems interspersed with illustrations, hardbound in grey cloth with pictorial front cover with gilt lettering, gilt lettering to spine. 9 in. H x 6 1/2 in. W x 5/8 in. D. 2nd Item: BANDANNA BALLADS, including "Shadows on the Wall," verses and pictures by Howard Weeden, introduction by Joel Chandler Harris, published by Doubleday and McClure Company, New York, 1900. Octavo, 90 song lyric pages with illustrations, hardbound in grey cloth with gilt and black pictorial blindstamping and lettering to front cover, gilt lettering to spine. 8 3/4 in. H x 6 3/4 in. W. x 5/8 in. D. 3rd Item: OLD VOICES by Howard Weeden, published by Doubleday, Page and Company, New York, 1904. Octavo, song lyric pages with illustrations, hardbound in brown cloth with brown and gilt blindstamped pictorial front cover gilt lettering to spine. 10 1/4 in. H x 8 in. W x 3/4 in. D. 4th Item: SHADOWS ON THE WALL, The Life and Works of Howard Weeden, by Frances C. Roberts and Sarah Huff Fisk. Huntsville: Burritt Museum, 1962. Biography with reprint of Weeden's three poetry books; contains numerous illustrations throughout, with 8 separate color prints laid in. 8 3/4 in. H x 6 1/2 in. W. 5th Item: HOWDY HONEY HOWDY by Paul Lawrence Dunbar, Illustrated and with photographs by Leigh Richmond Miner, Decorations by Will Jenkins. New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1905. 1st Edition 8vo, unpaginated. 8 3/4 in. H x 6 in. W. Biography: Dunbar (1872-1906) was one of the first African American poets to gain national recognition, predominately for his poems written in dialect.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
Unless you are a known customer of Case Auctions, payment for all gold, precious metal, and gem lots must be made by bank wire transfer, ACH, certified bank check, or money order. No exceptions.
If you pick up your lots from any of our galleries, Tennessee state sales tax will apply. Sales tax will only be waived if you provide a valid resale certificate from your state of residence.
If paying with a credit card, a 3.5% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file with Case, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
