All sketches initialed "GW."; eight (8) unused preliminary pencil sketches for UPSIDE OVER, by Shirley Trammell, illustrated by Mel Crawford, originally published by Golden Press, New York, 1969. All initialed "GW." Note: Williams began work on the illustrations for this book, however, it was eventually illustrated Mel Crawford; six (6) printed illustrations with hand watercoloring on paper by Rosemary Wells (American, b. 1943), including four (4) depicting scenes from Stuart Little by E.B. Little, Harper & Brothers, 1945, and two (2) depicting scenes from Benjamin's Treasure, published by HarperCollins, 2001, adapted by Wells from an episode in the novel The Adventures of Benjamin Pink by Garth Williams, 1951. All signed "Rosemary Wells", one with printed "Garth Williams" signature. Many with pencil numerals or other notations, en verso.
All items in overall good condition. Many items with light toning, handling wear, areas of loss, crumbling, pin prick holes, old masking tape, to edges of paper.
